Our Story

The idea of Mile High Tikka Express was born when two Hoteliers from different generations came along and worked in unison- Chef Charles & Abhi.


 

Chef Charles Mani was born and trained in Chennai, India. Mani left India in 2005 for New York City, where he worked at renowned restaurants such as Babu Ji and Badshah. He moved to Colorado in 2018 and launched his place, Urban Village Grill at Park Meadows Mall for which he received praises and had various articles written about his food.

Abhi, a Mixologist by profession has worked at well known Hotel Bars in Denver. He met Chef Charles in 2022 and the both immediately got along. Abhi switched from Bartending to cooking and worked with Chef Charles for a while. Chef Mani along with Abhi is now ready to bring his light, healthy, and modern takes on Indian cuisine and travel around Denver with Mile High Tikka Express.
